My BEST days are ahead of me!!!

My title of this post is also a GREAT country song, but that's pretty much completely not the point of why I'm writing.  The real reason is this: March is AMAZING baby!!!!
"Why?" you ask. Well, I'll tell you.

This March has already been eventful, but now that we're out of the good old 3rd term stress, I can thoroughly enjoy it!  Man! Third term was a toughie, and its the first term in my life that I haven't gotten a 4.0, but gosh darn it I worked hard for the grades I got and I'm proud of them!!! If a B+ in Honors Pre-Calculus is what I got, so be it.  I learned a ton! what more could I ask for?  We had region solo and ensemble last week too, and although it wasn't as perfect as I wanted it to be, I'm proud of my work and I think it was still beautiful! Once I can conquer my fears I'm sure I'll be a horn-playing force to be reckoned with! 

This next week promises to be even more eventful!!! Tonight is a new Once Upon a Time episode, and since it's my favorite show, I understandably can't wait!  I'm especially excited because this week's episode promises to be intense and exciting, with twists and turns and our favorite character going crazy! haha good stuff right there! We get to have Monday off of school, so I plan to get tons of homework done so that I can enjoy this week as much as possible. Maybe I'll even go to our WX Dance Company's concert.  Tuesday I look forward to late start, Wednesday I get to enjoy a wonderful A.P. American test, but the real excitement doesn't start till Thursday! That night, my friends and I get to go to a special preview of the Hunger Games!!!! Mom has constantly asked me if I'm sure we don't need adult chapperones (she secretly really wants to see it early too)  :). haha! I love her so much! And DUH! I can't wait to see it for myself either!  



Super excited for Peeta! I've always loved Josh Hutcherson!



It should be amazing! I mean, doesn't it look epic?

This Friday is my little brother Charlie's 3rd Birthday!!! I can't wait! I'm suspecting to see a lot of Batman themed presents! haha Charlie IS  Batman.  Saturday will be wonderful because it's the Young Women's General Broadcast! In our ward, we have dinner with our moms before the broadcast, then cake afterwards! It'll be great!!! I really like this years theme, and I look forward to being edified each year!

Of course, the next week will be amazing too!!! That Tuesday will be my 17th Birthday! Yay! And Wednesday night the WX music department will leave for San Francisco!!! I can't wait!!! It's going to be AMAZING!!! I've downloaded my relaxing music for the ride down there, and I'm pumped and ready to have a great time!  San Francisco is a beautiful city I hear, and I can't wait to get my hands on it for my photography!!! I love experiencing music and fun with my friends, and no matter how I look at it, I just can't wait to get there. :)  We're all working hard, and this should be a great experience for all of us.  I really need to practice my music more! haha We've got a lot of work to do before we're ready to sweep the competition again. ;) yay WX!  haha don't worry, we always seem to somehow pull through in the end. :)

Well, I'll tell you how it all goes!!! I'm super excited!! My best days really ARE ahead of me! :D and I can't wait. 

Gratefulness!!!!

This weekend has already been wonderful. A good day for me consists of ballence, productivity, and (duh) FUN!!!! Yesturday after school I had the awesome opurtunity to go to another UYPhil rehersal! (more about this in a min)

After rehersal, I got to study for the ACT with Emily and Rachel, and man, isn't it amazing all that we forget from geology? Pretty soon, we were wanting for a break, and ate delishious cake and watched.......... wait for it........ CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!! Being my first time seeing it, I had no idea what to expect! But, pretty soon it became evident that our hopes of watching a "chick flick" had been satisfied. This show had it all!!!! Epic explotions and fightin, cute 40's retro styles, WWII (which blows me away when I think about it), VERY cute hero, good message, love story, interesting conections with other movies, and cool science fiction! all in all, I can definately say that I've found my new favorite Super Hero. :D It was great! AND TOTALLY what I needed after a stressful week!

Rehersal was AMAZING today!!! We've been practicing for our concert on Monday with the Rampart Winds, a military woodwind quintet that travels around the country playing and teaching with many groups. They are amazing! I absolutely love playing the wonderful patriotic music that we have the opurtunity to perform. It fills me up with a huge spirit of gratefulness and patriotism. I love this country so much, and I am so so so grateful for the men and women who serve it and sacrifice their time and risk lives every day for the good of the world. They are amazing role models for me, and I'm grateful for those who I know and love who are serving or who are planning to serve our country. It's wonderful to be able to play this music and honor our country. I'm amazingly blessed to have the opurtunities I do, and I never want to give things like this up. Music is something that allows me to feel free. I can do it for myself, and through it, bless those around me. There are few things better than that! And, I get to do these things with my friends and family. I love it!!!

I'm so grateful for my amazing mentors, friends, and family who help me every day to be able to do things like this! I can't ever express my love to all of you enough.
