The GREAT month of NOVEMBER

November turned out to be a FANTASTIC month this year!!!! Between Thanksgiving with family and hanging out with my friends during the power outage, I had a great time. It was the first time school had been canceled in my lifetime, and I enjoyed every minute of it!!

The last Sunday of November was probably one of the best that I can remember for a long time! After a great testimony meeting filled with greatful members of my ward, we went to work cleaning the neighborhood. The storm hit my ward pretty hard, and after my brother Brendan and I left at 12:30 to clean up, we didn't get home till 5:00pm. It was the coolest thing to see all my friends and family and people I didn't even know working together cheerfully and willingly. It strengthens my testimony to see how people are willing to work together. The storm definately brought our community together, and thank goodness no more dammage occured that night.

I found some pictures on the internet of the clean up, so that we can all remember it, and so you can see it if you weren't there, this is a bit of what it was like!!!

Thanksgiving weekend was also fantastic. I went to my grandma Greenhalgh's house for a wonderful dinner with family. The day after (or was it saturday?), we went to our cabin near Oakley and Peoa (Smith and Morehouse is very close to the cabin). It was VERY fun, and very cold!!!

I definately can't wait till Christmas Break and of course, Christmas itself, but until then, school it is!! school is going great, but of course I'm keeping busy with my classes. One of these days, I'll be AHEAD on my homework, but for now, I'm definately doing great! :)

I REALLY love these Zenias in our backyard! I've probably taken thousands of pictures of these little guys!

I was VERY happy to get a shot of this Catholic Mission while we were on touring it! I picked the perfect moment, no people! This place was very inspirational- it was the first Catholic Mission in California = VERY old, it would take months to paint, but each angle is a masterpiece.

I took this on our California Music Trip last year, I was so proud of my little camera!!! feel free to note my friend leaning off the pier...

I still need to try out though, and they want me to do that October 8th... It's going to take a lot of practice! Hopefully I make it!

Here are some of the pictures I recently took for Photography!

Hey everyone! Welcome to my blog! I'm totally new to this, I made this blog in computer technology today and thought it's kinda neat! I thought it'd be a good way to keep in touch with people and share photos etc. in a better way than just facebook. I'll try it out- I probably won't put TONS on here, but at least we can sorta know whats going on in each other's lives! It's a lot easier putting the art people wanted to see (okay, dad wanted to see) on here than on facebook! :) Love you all!

Photography Class!!!

School's a blast! I'm loving Mr. Feller's photography. Even after 1 week of school, I've learned a TON. These are the pictures of my French Horn, I'm in Wind Ensemble (the top band at WX) and loving it!
